چکیده

The scheme developed by Hartle for describing slowly rotating bodies in 1967 was applied to the simple model of constant density by Chandrasekhar and Miller in 1974. The pivotal equation one has to solve turns out to be one of Heun’s equations. After a brief discussion of this equation and the chances of finding a closed form solution, a quickly converging series solution of it is presented. A comparison with numerical solutions of the full Einstein equations allows one to truncate the series at an order appropriate to the slow rotation approximation. The truncated solution is then used to provide explicit expressions for the metric. PACS numbers: 04.20.-q, 04.25.-g, 04.40.-b, 04.40.Dg

Numerical Solution of Heun Equation Via Linear Stochastic Differential Equation

In this paper, we intend to solve special kind of ordinary differential equations which is called Heun equations, by converting to a corresponding stochastic differential equation(S.D.E.). So, we construct a stochastic linear equation system from this equation which its solution is based on computing fundamental matrix of this system and then, this S.D.E. is solved by numerically methods. Evolution Equations for Slowly Rotating Stars

We present a hyperbolic formulation of the evolution equations describing non-radial perturbations of slowly rotating relativistic stars in the Regge–Wheeler gauge. We demonstrate the stability preperties of the new evolution set of equations and compute the polar w-modes for slowly rotating stars.

Radial pulsation frequencies of slowly rotating neutron stars

We study the radial pulsation frequencies of slowly rotating neutron stars in general relativistic formalism using realistic equations of state. It is found that the pulsation frequencies are always an increasing function of rotation rate. The increasing rate of frequency depends on the nature of equations of state. Cameron [1] suggested that the vibration of neutron stars might excite motions ...

The general relativistic effects on spin-flavor oscillations above the core of type II supernovae are investigated. The evolution equation is derived and the relative magnitudes of the terms in the Hamiltonian, which arise from the weak, electromagnetic and gravitational interaction, are compared. The effects on the resonance position and the adiabaticity are studied. Explicit calculations are ...

Relativistic Astrophysics a Conference in Honour of Igor Novikov's 60'th Birthday Direct Problem for a 2d Transonic Stellar Wind from Slowly Rotating Stars Mass Innation in a Rotating Charged Black Hole

The procedure of solving the direct problem for a transonic gas outtow from the surface of a slowly rotating star is formulated within 2D ideal hydrodynamics. The nonrelativistic Grad-Shafranov equation describing a 2D stellar wind is written down. It is shown that the existence of an exact analytical solution-a spherically symmetrical stellar wind-allows to solve the direct problem for a ow pa...
